| The
2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th,
floors will be the collection
locations for recycled items.
The recycle rooms will be
located next to the trash
rooms on these floors and
large recycle bins have
been placed in the rooms
for your recycle items.
Door signage has been ordered
but has not arrived. Look
for door signage in the
near future.
A
few important items must
be followed in order to
make the program a success.
First please do not dispose
of your household trash
in the recycle bins. Your
household trash will continue
to be disposed of in the
trash chutes. Remember
to rinse your recycle
cans and bottles as this
will help control unwanted
pests. All cardboard boxes
will continue to be placed
in the outside recycle
container located by the
south end of the back
parking lot. Do not place
boxes in the recycle rooms.
If you have lived in a
community before that
offers a recycling program,
I am sure you understand
the importance and impact
it can have. Please see
below for some helpful
guidelines. Do not hesitate
to contact the leasing
office if you have any
questions, comments, or
concerns.
Do's
And Don'ts of Recycling
In general, here are a
few things to keep in
mind:
Cleanliness
Counts - Keeping boxes
out of the weather makes
them easier to process.
That keeps costs down.
Good
bets - Newspaper,
magazines, phone books,
cereal boxes, other clean
and dry cardboard boxes,
cans, plastic bottles.
Probably
not - Plastic grocery
bags, Styrofoam, light
bulbs, food-soiled paper,
wax paper, ceramics.
Hazardous
wastes have their place
- Household hazardous
wastes like paint cans,
motor oil, antifreeze,
car batteries, pesticides,
pool chemicals, etc. usually
need to be disposed of
separately. Again, check
your community resources
and guidelines.

Noise
Please remember some basic
courtesies when living
in a multi-residential
community.
- 10pm
- 7am weekdays and 11pm
-8am weekends are designated
"Quiet Hours".
- Please
keep radios, televisions,
stereos, etc., down
to normal listening
levels. Sound travels
along the hardwood floors
and can also travel
through the concrete
columns to other floors.
- If
your stereo speakers
are on the floor, many
neighbors have found
that placing carpet
under the speakers eliminates
the problem of bass
notes traveling along
the floors to other
lofts.
- Please
keep conversations in
the hallways to a minimum,
and at lower levels.
Please walk softly in
the hallways - no running.
Be sure your guests
are aware of this when
they arrive and leave
your loft.
- If
you wear high-heeled
shoes please be cognizant
of the noise they can
produce during the late
hours in the hallways.
- Your
loft doors are very
heavy. Please do not
allow your loft door
to slam closed. Hold
the doorknob so that
it closes quietly. Please
contact the office if
you do not have the
noise-reducing foam
around the inside of
your doorframe and/or
a door- sweep.
- All
carts checked out from
the concierge desk must
be returned by 10pm
and cannot be used in
the hallways during
the designated quiet
hours.
- If
you are having a party
you must notify the
concierge desk and provide
a guest list to ensure
compliance with Fire
Codes and community
policies. If you have
30 or more guests expected
you will be required
to hire an off-duty
police officer.
- The
use of bicycles, skateboards,
scooters, skated or
roller blades is not
permitted inside the
building.
